「Did」を含む文の意味

Q: Did he still alive とはどういう意味ですか?

A: "Did" to II forma czasownika "do"- robić ( do, did, done).
Występuje w czasie przeszłym "Past Simple".

W pytaniach "did" jest operatorem i występuje po nim I forma czasownika, np. : "DID you GO to the cinema?"- Czy poszedłeś/poszłaś do kina?
"DID you BUY a bag?"- czy kupiłeś/aś torbę?

「Did」の類語とその違い

Q: Did you speak English と Do you speak English はどう違いますか?
A: You already have 'did' so you can't have 'spoke'. When you use 'do/did', the verb next to it is always infinitive.
Q: A : Did you figure out (how to turn it on)? と B : Did you figure out (how to work it on)? はどう違いますか?
A: A's phrase sounds more natural than the other one.

I don't think many people would say "Did you figure out how to work it on" ..

I don't want to say it doesn't make sense because i know what you are saying..but it doesn't.

In any situation I would use A's phrase.
Q: Did you not know? と Didn't you know? はどう違いますか?
A: 同じんです。"Did you not know" is an old or literary form of "didn't you know". This isn't used very often, you'll probably only hear it in movies.

To get a better sense: It's kind of like using ぬ instead of ない.

「韓国人と結婚してはならぬ」
「この試験は大切だから、失敗してはならぬ!」
Q: "Did you use to live here?" と "Did you live here?" はどう違いますか?
A: They have the same meaning. The first is more colloquial.

"I used to..." means "I did this for some time, but I don't do it any more."

Ex:
I used to play hockey, but my parents made me stop.

The affirmative is very common and grammatical. The negative ("I didn't used to") and the interrogative ("did you used to...?") look very clumsy in writing and are usually avoided but are often spoken.
Q: Did they phone you? と Did they call you? はどう違いますか?
A: They both mean the same thing, but using "phone" as a verb is pretty uncommon.
