Q: with each other とはどういう意味ですか?
A: “With each other” could also be “with one another”. It means they are together and effecting them. Each other is sometimes used when you compare two things. Does this help?
Q: but other than that とはどういう意味ですか?
A: probably best with an example:

the weather will be cold tomorrow but apart from that we can still travel
The soup was salty, but apart from that the meal was very good
I fell and broke my arm, but apart from that I'm okay

you can also use .."besides that...." or "apart from that....."
A: He is looking at me, and I am looking at him. We are looking at each other.
A: @mashichi65: opposite
A: The person (Sandeep) did not write "and 1 other" - This looks like the website is telling you that Sandeep wrote a reply (starting with "Your daughter also will be a law...") and that one other user also replied.

The website is using a poor design though. It is not very clear what the "1 other" indicates and it's not clear by looking whether it is part of Sandeep's reply or not.

Q: last time と the other day と a couple of days ago はどう違いますか?
A: last time is the last encounter you had with the subject spoken
ex: the last time I answered a question was 2 minutes ago. or
The last time I saw you we went to the movies!

the other day- is going to be an assumed time frame that's not specifically important to the subject. I went to the store the other day and got a new coat. (what day isn't important to the person telling the story)

Couple of days ago- can be specifically 2 days ago, or it can also mean the same as ,the other day, a vague time frame. Oh I saw him a couple of days ago.
Meaning it hasnt been very long but you don't remember the specific time.
A: Another means to get an extra

Other is a way to exclude one topic or object therefor focusing on that one idea or topic.

Others is the same as other with the acceptation that it can exclude more than one topic or bring focus on several topics.

Example sentences:
"I would like another paper miss"

"I have a blue fish, but my other fish is better"

"I have a blue fish, but the others are more vibrant"
Q: one another と each other はどう違いますか?
A: @agorafobicno: you're welcome. we shouldn't fight with each other would sounds weird, because each other is referring to both of them. One another is more focused on the individuals, but from a wholistic stand point. This is a very hard thing for even me, as a native, to understand. I personally never learned the difference. I just know how to use them from hearing others use them, and seeing them in context. I apologize for the late response. In this case, it's one of those things that that you just need to learn from context, and that I think has no true explication.
Q: other と another はどう違いますか?

Do you want another piece of pizza?

¿Donde están las otras? (personas)
Where are the others?
Q: "Somehow or other" と "Anyhow" はどう違いますか?
A: なんとかやってみるよ is an example of a situation for "somehow or other." I'll figure it out one way or other. I'm so tired, but anyhow I'm off tomorrow.

They are not interchangeable phrases. I hope this helps. My Japanese is still poor
