While I was traveling alone in Nagoya when I was 25 years old, I bumped into “The exhibition of Chibi Maruko-chan’s 25th anniversary”. Of course I knew the manga and anime “Chibi Maruko-chan”, but I didn’t know how beautiful the author of the manga Momoko Sakura drew the pictures until then. I was so impressed and I became a big fan of her then. この表現は自然ですか？

Sounds good! I'd only do one thing. It's not (I don't think) ungrammatical, but just for smoother reading I'd write "the author of the manga, Momoko Sakura, drew". The apostrophes just make it a bit clearer.
