I was happy when I plugged my old PSP and it was charging. So the charger still works, I thought.
But my happiness quickly turned into disappointment when I tried to play one game. It only managed to stay on for about 10 seconds. Okay so the battery dies, I just have to buy a new one and play it while it still plugged in.
But turned out the analog stick was broken too. Now this console is worthless because the cost to fix the analog and buy the battery is not worth it. この表現は自然ですか？

大体合ってるけど少し不自然

Instead of one game, you could say a game. Also, the part you said "okay the battery dies~ plugged in" you could say I thought at the end because it was your thought. And at the end where you said 'buy the battery' you could fix it to 'to buy the battery'
