トンガリ とはどういう意味ですか?

Is トンガリ a slang word? I found とんがり帽子 which means 'pointed' hat. I wonder if it can mean something like 'jester' or 'clown' because of what I found in a text.
I'm curious because the protagonist in a manga calls his enemy トンガリ (and the enemy actually wears a top-hat, not a pointy one). I think the protagonist is making fun of the enemy because of his weird clothes? And probably thinks "Hey, you look like a clown!"

Not a slang word. It means anything with a pointed end like a triangular pyramid. A clown is often seen to wear a "トンガリ 帽子 (pointed hat)."
