このベーコンのブツブツがカリカリしてる
This was a sentence I did for practice, but part of me wants to use カリット instead of カリカリしてる.

It's surely ブツブツ, but ブツブツ sounds a little bit gross. I think 焼き目 is better.

@Rinds You know how bacon has those bumps all over it that are crunchy, I was trying to refer to those. sorry if I did a bad job!

カリカリしてる and カリッとしてる both sound the same and natural:)
I’m thinking about 「ベーコンのブツブツ」. This sounds like there are a lot of small bumps on the bacon. Is this what you meant?

@Molinari Kind of, I was trying to refer to the bumps that are normally on crispy bacon. The more I think about it the grosser it sounds to use ぶつぶつ for this.

Hmmm, how about this? このベーコンのブツブツ、カリっとしている。I agree with you that カリっと suits the context better than カリカリ.

@kasumi-09 Thanks, It's got me wondering now, does ベーコンのブツブツ remind you of bacon acne or something XD. I didn't think about it till now but it sounds kind of gross.

I see:) Yeah, I think you could say ぽつぽつ. It means the same thing, but personally that sounds better for food:)

@Rinds Thank you, that does sound a lot better. I think I thought more about the texture then the connotations of the word. You don't tend to want to eat something ぶつぶつ. Thank you!
