Yeah it's generally the same thing just different wording

Yeah they are similar. Since you are contradicting by saying "as weird as it is...", it's the same as saying "strangely enough..."

@Pororoca to make it simple, contradicting is going against something. Like saying "strangely enough" is used when something makes sense even though it may seem weird like it shouldn't make sense.ごめなさい if I'm not making any sense
