@JoshuaMan:
"I have to water the flowers" - I have to pee.
"I have to powder my nose" (women only) - I have to go to the bathroom

@JoshuaMan: Defecate and urinate.
But in a meal for example you either don't say anything, or
Excuse me
I need to use the restroom.

@RedZ: they are euphemisms, for when you need to excuse yourself from a situation but it's improper to say what you really need to go do, such as during a meal.

@RedZ: I don't guess they are impolite. Wanna know a couple of impolite ones? I have to take a dump, I have to take a whiz. These are pretty impolite

@alex1986 @talscudi: They sound informal and slangy.
I interpert polite as in formally written text or in a discussion (where it is best to say nothing), hence my answer above.
But this may be only me.

To be polite I would say 'go to the bathroom'.
Though the proper/formal terms for them are 'urinate' and 'defecate', but those aren't used in everyday conversation.
So, "I need to pee/poop" -> "I need to go to the bathroom"
Though as a noun I would say urine (pee), faeces (poop), or waste (pee and poop).

They are polite in the context of a formal dinner with the Queen, you would say "excuse me, your majesty, I need to powder my nose."
For a written text, however, you would refer to poop as "a bowel movement" and pee as "urine".

@RedZ: it's because in English it isn't polite to say these things at all. Which is unusual compared to a lot of other cultures. In English, we pretend that nobody ever poops or pees and the only reason for going to the bathroom is to look in the mirror and fix your makeup.

@talscudi: Indeed, such topics are usually best avoided, not only in English.
No one would say things like that so clearly and if possible nothing at all.

So many responses. Did you want just the words though not different ways of saying you need to go to the toilet?
Pee, wee, number 1.
Poop, poo, number 2.
(Not sure if the number thing is just Australian slang though)
More formal ways I suppose would be: urination and faeces
