Oh!😃 I thought so! On my vocabulary sheet it translates to "thanks to you" or "thanks to the gods" which is a little over the top! So, most of the time of the you would use ありがとうございます or ありがとう to say "thank you" to someone, right? 😄

That's right! we Japanese (especially younger generation) hardly ever say おかげさまで to someone.
If you want to use, keep in mind おかげさまで is a super advanced expression.
