私の日本語がペラペラじゃないのでこの説明はわかりやすいといいです!

Ex:
We are planning to take a trip to Paris this summer! Is august okay for you?

John wants to borrow your Nintendo switch, is that okay with you?

@Gabriel_O Is it ok with you is the same as "Are you ok with it?" Is it ok for you is more like "Will this work for you, is it what you need?"

"Is it ok with you" is a way to ask if you have someone's permission to do something or if they wouldn't mind if you did something.

Examples:
"I'm going to turn the heat on. Is that ok with you?"
"I was thinking of signing us up for a pottery class. Would that be ok with you?"

"Is it ok for you" applies to what the other person is doing. You ask it to know if they are comfortable and safe to do something or have permission to do it.

Examples:
"I thought you had a milk allergy. Is it ok for you to be eating that ice cream?"
"You just had surgery. Are you sure it is ok for you to be hiking?

"Is it ok for you" can also be used to ask if an object or choice is what the person desires or works for them.

Example:
"I heard you wanted a red sweater. Is this one ok for you?"

In many cases, you will also be just fine dropping the "with you" or "for you" and just saying, "Is it ok?"

is it ok with you? when you need the agreement of someone. for example is it ok with you if we meet at 6pm?
is it ok for you? when you ask someone if something is suitable for them. for example after a giving a coffee you can ask if it is ok for them

@ivi89 That is a good answer! But you also can say for when asking rules. Ex. Is it ok for us to go beyond the rope?(like at museum) ex. It is it ok for me to slurp my ramen? You don't use with because it's not one person's permission you are asking about but a general rule..
