Holiday and vacations mean special festival and time off work respectively in the US. In UK English holiday is usually used to cover both.

I don't understand
In American English, personal time off (free time) is generally called "time off" or "vacation time", or sometimes, just "vacation". So your sentence should be "If you have several days off, where would you go?"
