I think you mean "Πρώτα ο θεός". It's better to explain it using an example.
"Θα τα πούμε αύριο, πρώτα ο θεός." -> "See you tomorrow, God willing"
It's used by people who believe in god when making a plan with someone. By saying "Πρώτα ο θεός", they state that they'll do the plan if it's god's will to do it.
