"use" is by for the more popular noun. "using" is almost always considered a verb. In this case, "use" is correct.

@_Mira we would say "I like using ... " but in this case, we would use "use." You can compare a verb like "implement." "We often make choices about implementing something ..." but "we're focusing on an item's use and implementation."
