"Subtle" is mostly used to discuss non-physical things like concepts. Eg. "There is a subtle difference between concept A and concept B". "Delicate" is more for physical things. Eg. "A delicate flower" and is seldom used to describe non-physical things. "Slight" is similar to "subtle", but "subtle" often refers to an even smaller, less noticeable difference between things. Faint can be used when describing physical things (eg. Objects) and non-physical things (eg. Concepts). But mostly, "faint" is used to describe difference between things that you can see.
