English grammar comes into play here however in most casual English conversations grammar can be messy
“Could” implies can you/ are you able to/ is it possible
Example: “can you wait a minute” in which case someone “can” wait but it doesn’t mean they will
“Would” implies will you
Example: “will you wait a minute”
