「たら」は、仮定条件、確定条件、過去の条件に使います。
「なら」は仮定条件のみで、かつ、述語が意志を表す場合にのみ使います。
なお、仮定条件とは、条件が満たされたかどうかが不明である場合です。例
明日晴れたら、出かけよう。
明日晴れるなら、出かけよう。
確定条件とは、すでに条件の結果がわかっているものです。
例
これだけ勉強したら、きっと合格できるだろう。
