Question about English (UK)
I've come across the word "staycation" on the Internet. It is claimed this word is used for describing a holiday spent in your home country. (blend of stay + vacation)
I've never heard the word before. Do you actually use it in the UK (or in any other English speaking country)?

While I don't live in an English-speaking country I spend my days in the English-speaking parts of the internet and I've never heard that before.
For sure it's very far from being widely used, if at all.

yes, I've heard it been used here and there. it's common enough for people to know what it is, but not really something most people use very often.
