初めて「悪口」という言葉を聞く時に、「わるぐち」の発音を使われました。でも、最近「わるくち」の発音を使われました。それで、どちらの発音はもっと普通か考えていたんです。

どちらも良く使われます。好みです。Both pronunciations are commonly used, I think it's only a matter of your preference.
