it's possible to write "rĂșa" in literature, but in spoken way nobody say it, although they're synonyms it's not common to say rĂșa, most people say just calle.

En MĂ©xico no es para nada comĂșn usar la palabra ârĂșaâ.
Sin embargo las calles obtienen su jerarquĂa dependiendo del tamaño y ubicaciĂłn de Ă©stas.
Por ejemplo, se les llama Avenidas a aquellas que cruzan por lugares emblemåticos o qué atraviesan una gran extensión de la ciudad. Av. Reforma, Av. De Los Insurgentes, por citar algunas.
Calle, tienden a ser caminos secundarios de la ciudad.
RĂșa, lo tuve que buscar en el diccionario porque no sabĂa que es, se les dice caminos rurales, y estos no estĂĄn pavimentados o incluso no tienen nombre siquiera.

In Mexico it is not at all common to use the word "rĂșa".
However the streets obtain their hierarchy depending on the size and location of these.
For example, they are called Avenidas to those that cross emblematic places or that cross a great extension of the city. Av. Reforma, Av. De Los Insurgentes, to name a few.
Street, tend to be secondary roads of the city.
RĂșa, I had to look for it in the dictionary because I did not know what it is, they are called rural roads, and these are not paved or even do not even have a name.

@truthordare Nunca en toda mi vida he escuchado la palabra "rĂșa" en español. Probalemente haya sido un galicismo usado en tiempos antiguos.
En lo que repecta a "calle" es una palabra que se usa genericamente para designar cualquier vĂa por donde transitan autos o personas.
