I don't think it's too different from other countries' education systems. Maybe it's the fact that we get less homework which leads to less stress than other countries.

@Veraqiu We do, actually. After 2,5 years we have a ”studying break” where we prepare for the exams. They’re called matricilation examinations.

I think school has quite little to do with previous results and more about Finnish society and culture after 90s Nordic banking fallout and soviet block leaving this world to next dimension. Finland has changed a lot after that and late 2000 results have been far worse than before
