For the meaning of “I don’t know (about something)”, both are the same. But 모르겠어 is only used for “I don’t know (about something)” while 난 몰라! can mean “Oh my god!” in some situation. For example; A : 너 엄마한테 거짓말 한 것 들켰어! B : 난 몰라! 어쩌지?
