死体は、身元がわからない人が死んだ体、遺体は身元がわかっている人の死んだ体、死骸は人間以外が死んだもの、亡骸の意味は死体と同じだけれど、雅語でありニュースや口語では使わない。
屍も人間の死んだ体を意味するが漢語的で口語やニュースでは使われない。
