it depends on its place in the sentence but u can not put it in the end of sentence it mustn't be alone without anything after it

They are the same حرف جر but the pronunciation of the last part changes according to what follows, so the حركة changes.
The original form is مِنْ, but if it is followed by a word which has a first letter that is ساكن (has حركة سكون) then مِنْ changes to مِنَ to preserve the fluidity of pronunciation.
Example:
خلق الإنسان مِنْ مَاء
The original form is maintained since the first letter of the word that follows is not ساكن
خلق الإنسان مِنَ الماء
Here it is turned into مِنَ since the first letter of the word that follows is ساكن
