Is this correct?

"I would adjust the last part of the sentence to past of the sentence.”
前半の文章の時制と後半の文章の時制を合わせましょう

For example, we would say 'When I was eating, he came to my house.", but we wouldn't say 'When I was eating, he comes to my house."
