- French (France)
« Vous serez récompensé pour votre travail » « Vous en serez récompensé ».
- English (US)
Because the usual preposition is "récompenser qqn DE qqc." On est récompensé DE sa peine. In English, the preposition is different, one is recompensed _for_ st.; in French, it's usually _de_ quelque chose. See http://www.cnrtl.fr/definition/r%C3%A9compenser for the entries, e.g., "Récompenser un ami, un serviteur, le vainqueur; récompenser qqn de sa bonté, de son obéissance, de son zèle;" & "Elle récompensait quelquefois son mari d'un regard, d'un demi-sourire."
- French (France)
in current french, we'd rather say "vous serez récompensés"
