Question about French (France)
When say something isn't, do you always use "ne" and "pas"? I've heard often only "pas" used in French movies. Is it more casual?

Indeed, in spoken language "ne" is sometimes ommited:
- "Je ne sais pas." -> "Je sais pas."
- "Tu n'as pas 1 euro à me prêter ?" -> "T'as pas 1 euro à me prêter ?"
It is very common in colloquial speech, between friends, in daily life...
The situations "ne" is always is pronunced are formal ones: job interviews, professional meetings...
