The "t" sound is often omitted or very subtly pronounced in US English in words that end with a "t" when it's the last word in a sentence, or the word after it begins with a consonant. So, in
"Text me"
"Send me a text"
the "t" is very subtle. But if a word beginning with a vowel follows (e.g. "Text Anna") , the "t" is usually more clearly pronounced.

Sometimes when there are 3 or more consonant sounds in a row in a word, people silence one in conversation so the words can be said more quickly. "xt" basically has a "k-s-t"
My last name has "n-d-b" in it and for ease of pronounciation i skip over the "d" ususally.
