@Vinc3 "It's not easy to be drunk all the time" sounds clunkier, more awkward to me. The other one sounds more natural is how I would say it.

I think they are pretty equivalent in meaning. The feel of the sentences is a little different, but that's it. I like, "It's not easy being drunk all the time." better. As in:
-Poor Andrew. He still hasn't admitted that he has a drinking problem.
-Hey, at least he's rich and still holds a job down.
-Still, it's not easy being drunk all the time.
