1. We put adjectives before nouns:
白い家=しろい いえ=a white house
白い is an adjective, white.
家 is a noun, a house.
2. We also put adjectives after subjects that are with は/が particles.
私は若いです=わたしは わかい です=I'm young.
わたしは is a subject, は is a particle that shows わたし as a subject.

Japanese adjectives ends with い、しい、な、or の.

beautiful:うつくしい (ends with しい)
clean:清潔な=せいけつな (ends with な)
~'s:~の
