@Sharing-Language I think they were asking why you weren’t feeling better. You aren’t sad, but they are wondering why you aren’t happy, if that makes sense. It’s kind of a scale.
You have sad -> fine -> happy
You were in the middle, but they were hoping you would be happy.

“I’m fine” is a neutral answer. You are not sad or happy, you’re just content.
