Question about English (US)
Can I use "black belt in [something]" to express mastery in something, borrowing the expression from martial arts? Would people understand? E.g.: "Company XYZ. Black belt in marketing." Does this sound natural?

A little unnatural
I have heard "black belt" used like this before, but it might sound a little bit funny (maybe that is your intent). I would laugh a little if someone told me they had a black belt in accounting. :)

If you really want to use that expression I would probably say "Company X, The black belt of marketing" Even then I don't think i've heard this as an advertisement like so. It isnt wrong, but perhaps find a different slogan.

Usually this expression uses "to have."
"Black Belt," is not a state of being, it is something someone has.
Examples:
I have a black belt in marketing.
They have a black belt.
It usually isn't used like...
"I am black belt."
If you literally have a black belt in martial arts, "Black Belt," can be your title... "I am a black belt," but this is usually not used for anything else.
