if you go to the south and east speak Russian, if not it's better to speak Ukrainian especially in Lvov and Kiev

I was born in Ukraine but I grew up only speaking Russian. My family is from Ukraine and speak both Ukrainian AND Russian. I have Moldovan friends that speak Russian. From my experience I'd say learning Russian is better.
