How do you say this in Japanese? How do I say this in Japanese?
I am no good at Japanese, but I will still do my best. I want many Japanese friends so I can talk to them in Japanese and become fluent. All of this is because I love the language and want to live there. I know I will never fit it because I will always be "the foreigner," and they will always stare. However, Japan is my dream, and I want to fit into my dream like a puzzle piece as best I can.
I am bad at speaking Japanese, and I know I will get it wrong, but this is my version of translation.
わたし は にほんご が よく はなせません が, これ でも がんばろう と おもいます. いsしょ に にほんご で はなしたり ぺらぺら に なったり する ため に, たくさん にほんじん の ともだち を つくりたい です. これ わ, にほんご が だいすき で にほん に すみたい こと に なる ん です. わたし は いつも "その がいじん" に なって のほんじん は いつも わたし を みつめる ので, けsして fいっと しない こと だ と わかります. でも, にほん が ゆめ で, パズルのピース みたい に あいたい です よ.

私は日本語が苦手ですが、これからも頑張ります。日本語で流暢に話せるようになってたくさんの日本人の友達が欲しいです。その理由は日本語が大好きで日本で暮らしたいからです。私は常に「外国人」なので日本には合わないことは理解していますし、常にそのように見られることも知っています。でも、日本は私の夢であり、私は可能な限りパズルをするように自分の夢を実現したいです。

If you are referring to my question, then yes. This computer doesn't have Japanese, so I had to convert romaji to kana. But I do know hiragana and katakana, as well as up to 3rd grade kanji (and a few others that seem to be scattered around.) I am familiar with at least 400 kanji, but I am rusty on the once I see less often.
I would like to be friends, but I must warn you my Japanese is very very bad. I do find myself wondering about my accent though. I practiced for a long time, and it seems to me like my accent is better than my speaking, which is weird.
Also, I should say this so you don't regret it if you decide to be friends with me. I don't have a phone yet and my internet access is mostly just once a week. It is usually Thursdays, but there was an exception the last couple of weeks for circumstances. That will change soon, but I thought I should let you know.
