How do you say ‘I didn’t know there was thát much to it’ in Dutch?
Context: Ik zei dat ik een Vlaams woord geleerd had. Een vriend van me zei toen dat er 15 varianten van hetzelfde woord zijn! Ik verwachtte niet dat het zo ingewikkeld zou zijn.

ik wist niet dat er zoveel bij zat. Dit zou ik zeggen maar of het goed ABN is weet ik niet.

Ik zat vreselijk na te denken hierover. Je kunt het werkwoord 'inhouden' gebruiken, maar alleen als je alle varianten uit je hoofd zou gaan leren. Ik denk niet dat dat je bedoeling is.
