Question about English (US)
could you correct my sentences written in below?
I would like to apply for the advertised position of sports trainer at your team.
I majored in physical therapy at university, and I have a qualification as an athlete trainer. I promise that my qualification will allow me to contribute to keep player's condition.
p.s. this is my school homework. I have to write a job application letter, and I must use those words; major in, contribute to and allow me to__. plus I have to write it about 40 words.
Thanks!

I would like to apply for the advertised position of a sports trainer in your team.
I majored in physical therapy at university and I have a qualification as an athletic trainer. My qualifications and experience will allow me to contribute positively to the well-being of the athletes on your team.
It sounds more natural now, but a task which forces learners to include words makes it hard for it to sound 100% natural.

@Katsukillllll I would write:
I would like to apply for the advertised position of a sports trainer on your team.
I majored in physical therapy at university. I am qualified as an (athletic/athlete) trainer. I think that my qualification will allow me to positively contribute to your player's athletic conditioning.
Thankyou.

@terrywallwork I like your version. Only thing though - instead of "advertised position of sports trainer", it should be "advertised position of a sports trainer."
You forgot the 'a'.

@terrywallwork change sports trainer to athletic trainer. A sports trainer does not exist.
