What does If somebody says "Jag gillar dig", what does it mean? is it like in English, where it can mean "I like you, as in you are nice" or "I like you romantically"? or does it have a specific meaning between the two? Tack för hjälpen mean?

"Jag gillar dig" means "I like you"
"Jag gillar dig" dosen't have to mean that the person likes you romantically. You have to interpret it by yourself, it depends on who is saying it to you. So it can mean both "I like you as in you are nice" or I like you romantically "
But if someone says "Jag älskar dig" then it is romantically and it means "I love you"
