A의 상황이라면 가능하지만 사실상 A의 상황은 거의 불가능해서 어떤 일이 이루어질 수 없을 때 써요.
예를 들어..
니가 내 일을 대신 해 준다면 모를까 (그렇지 않으면 일찍 퇴근할 수 없어)
상대방이 내 일을 대신 해 준다면 일찍 퇴근할 수 있지만 그건 거의 불가능하기 때문에 일찍 퇴근할 수 없다는 뜻이에요.
