Kedi ulaşamadığı *ciğere murdar(mundar) der/dermiş .
Aslında kelimenin doğrusu "murdar" ama halk arasında "mundar" veya "mındar" şeklinde kullanılıyor.
Murdar (mundar/mındar ) kelimesinin anlamı ise pis,kirli demek.İslami kurallara göre kesilmeyen bir hayvanın eti için de murdar denir.
Bu bir atasözü ve anlamı kedi yemek istediği ama ulaşamadığı/yetişemediği için yiyemediği ciğere "o zaten pisti", "o yenecek bir ciğer değildi" deyip güya yetişemediğinden değil de sanki istese o ciğeri alırmış ama istemediği, pis olduğu için almamış gibi gözükmeye çalışırmış.Eğer ulaşabilseydi o ciğer temizdi ve yiyecekti, ama ulaşamayınca o ciğere murdar/pis dedi ve o pis şeyi yemek istemediği için almamış veya zaten alsaydı bile güya pis olduğu için yiyemeyecekmiş.Yani insan bir şeyi yapmak isteyip de yapamadığında veya bir şeyi elde etmek isteyip de elde edemediğinde başarısızlığını gizlemek için o yapamadığı veya elde edemediği şeyi kötü bir şeymiş gibi veya yapmaya,elde etmeye değer bir şey değilmiş gibi göstermeye çalışır.Ayrıca insan, başkalarının yaptığı ama kendisinin yapamadığı,ya da başkalarının sahip olduğu ama kendisinde olmayan şeyleri de kötü gibi göstermeye çalışır.

btw, there are only two cases that you can hear the word 'murdar' in daily talk. one of them is the idiom above, and the other one is used for knifes

@VerySpecialMan idk these are things that I heard only in fiqh class so I'm not sure if anyone uses the word 'murdar' in their daily life. I'd say haram or sth I guess. even 'kurbağayı murdar eder' is too much my grandma
