maybe, but i’ve not heard of that too much. a big reason why some western men might specifically seek out asian girls (particularly southeast asian) is because of fetishization. there’s this idea that asian girls are more timid and submissive, as well as they fetishize the stereotypical appearance of southeast asian girls— thin, pale, petite, youthful appearance etc. of course some people just have preferences :) no problem with that. but there is a problem of mass fetishization of asian women.
as a general statement, a western man who just looks for non-western women overall may say that it’s because western women are too ‘feminist,’ or he’ll point out another issue he sees with western society. some may just find interest in the cultures or something with more pure intentions, but who knows

I don't think that it's just because of feminism, because there are plenty of women in America with traditional morals and ideas. There is a common idea from other countries that women in America are all feminists. That's just not true. I personally cannot stand what feminism has become today.
I'm a woman and I like Asian cultures for their traditional values, so I think some men would be attracted to that for the same reason. I think that it has to do more with traditional values than just feminism. It's much more than just that.
