Ideal means something that is preferable to you or to the mass majority, whereas perfect just shows that something fit your/someone else's standards, but honestly depending on how you use it there really is no difference.
Examples:
IDEAL: My ideal type is someone who can make me laugh when I'm upset.
PERFECT: This song is absolutely perfect.

Ideal is what you prefer or want. the better option but not necessarily the best. if you have two options there might be an ideal one out of the two, but if you had a third option it might be perfect. Perfect is more like the best or without flaw, nothing you would change.
