I have the same problem in reverse. It's boring, but I found the app Duolingo helped me with sentence structure. Granted the rules to Portuguese make a lot more sense than English. That said I hope it works for you too.
Eu tenho o mesmo problema ao contrário. É chato, mas achei o aplicativo que o Duolingo me ajudou com a estrutura das frases. Conceder as regras ao português faz muito mais sentido do que o inglês. Dito isto, funciona para você também.

@brunahenriques04 Good! I would advise you above all else to be patient. When I learn a rule in Portuguese. I can generally count on it being true most of the time. That is simply not true with English. I like to use an analogy for English. If one man had written all rules for English. That man would be absolutely insane. 😂

@brunahenriques04 Example. You use accent marks above a letter to tell you how to say something. We use another vowel nearby to do the same thing. cam and came for example. The E is silent or not said. It's purpose is tell me to say the the A differently. There is one non vowel between the A and E. If it was two the rule doesn't apply. Two vowels beside each other invokes the same rule. Example. Cain. The i is silent again. Like the E its function is to change the A sound. As I mentioned earlier about English rules. This is not always true, only most of the time.
