just compare these two sentense,the second one sounds natural.
But if you add one chinese character in the first sentence,昨天你去公园玩得怎么样,it will be more standard. the second sentence you listed is the simplification in oral chinese.

To be honest, both of them sound unnatural... 😂 Though in casual talks you may happen to hear the latter but it is generally seen as a sentence with verbs omitted. I agree with ansys80, and you can substitute 玩 with other action verbs like 逛 待 and so on.
