I've read that ending a sentence with "だよ" in casual conversation is seen as kind of masculine but yet I've heard multiple girls use this in real life. Is it actually a masculine thing?

I think it’s a more feminine thing.
Men use だろ or something more often.

Neither.
Both men and wemen use it equally.
It's just that it sounds kind.
