Question about English (US)

Does it make sense? If you have alternative expression like native, please correct the following sentences. Thank you.

Japanese people tend to be perfect. They don't want to make mistakes, in particular in front of soneone. This keeps them away from communicating with foreigners in English, so they don't practice enough. If they try to chat with foreigners, they could get used to English soon.
