Question about English (US)

I have a question about how to use pronoun before verb(~ing).
For instance, is the following sentence correct?

*He might be angly about me staying out all night.

This is from the drama of "Riverdale". But I'm wondering if "my" is more suitable instead of "me" cause I learned "I don't like his smoking" is grammatically correct.

Please answer my question.
