1. I can go to the movie only if I don't have work that day.

So basically, 'only if' expresses some sort of requirement for something else to happen. And 'if only' is used to express a wish or desire.

"Only if" means that only one thing can cause something else. For example, "I can go to school only if my dad is home." This means that my dad has to be home in order for me to go to school. If my dad is not home, I can't.
"If only" is used in speech to express desire. For example, if I said, "If only I had a ticket," I would mean that I don't have one, but I desire one.
