I already tried to answer it but got a "bad gateway" message, whatever that means. I'll try once more. There is no difference. Probably "help to do something" is correct and "help do something" is sloppy, but both are very common. The name of the person being helped goes after help. "Tomorrow I'm going to help John move his refrigerator."
