Is it common for Korean people to pat their chest if they’re sad or upset? I’ve seen it happen in many movies and I wondered if it was apart of the culture or if they just do it in the movies. They don’t do it all the time that’s for sure but sometimes I notice them doing it. Is that just in the movies or do they do it a little in real life?

In fact, when something is frustrating, annoying, or sad, they do that. they can actually feel that in their heart. It's different from person to person, but sometimes they get headaches too.
