How do you say this in English (US)? Hello, I have a question. I want to say that I'm currently living in a boarding house renting a room there. (I'm still living there) So should I say "I rent a room there." or "I'm renting a room there" or even "I rented a room there" or none of these? Tnx

All three are fine actually. But if you really want to emphasize the fact that you are still currently living there, the first two are best.
