Question about English (US)
Does this sound natural?
Hey, Alice, do you have time? I have few questions, wanting to ask you. Although Amy answered my question yesterday, she did not completely dispel my confusion. I have been wondering how to explain this word in another way. Could you give me some help?

Thank you for your reply! 😁
If I just met Alice and suddenly thought of this question, “I’ve been wanting to ask you” is still better than “ I want to ask you”?
As far as “dispel” is a difficult word, how about “figure out my confusion”?
- English (US) Near fluent
- Spanish (Mexico) Near fluent
@Nina20312 Hmm...."wanting to ask you" makes it sound like you've known her and thought about her for a while. If you've just met each other, that might seem a bit weird, so it might be best to go with "I want to ask you".
And I would replace that whole phrase "she did not completely dispel my confusion" with "I'm still confused (about it)". It's simple, but sometimes simple is better.
